We came here on a whim last weekend and we actually really enjoyed the drinks and food. There was lots of bad reviews but we tried anyways and were very happy with the service. We got the prime rib dinners and had some drinks. Everything was delicious!
The owner of this establishment takes great pride in not only his business, but in his community, as well. The food is excellent, the staff is courteous, and the dining areas and restrooms are always clean! They offer everything from a quick drink to a catered event on or off-site! Don't let the menu price fool you; the portions are large, so you are definitely getting your money's worth and the quality is top-notch! I honestly can't say enough good things about this place or the people who run it!
The pulled pork Mac and cheese was absolutely incredible, portions are big. The service was outstanding.
Excellent food, good prices, wonderful service. I got the build a burger, (broasted chicken breast) excellent choice if you want to custom order. My wife had the broasted chicken special (included mashed potatoes/gravy, coleslaw, dinner roll, And drink). Our server Rain was amazing; attentive, knowledgeable, great recommendations. Came down from Black River Fall.....will definitely be coming back...😁🤩🤩
Eating out is nearly impossible for us due to a soy allergy and gluten allergy. The staff at this restaurant went above and beyond to ensure that there was no soy or gluten in anything served to us and made accommodations they didn’t have to make! Kenzie was attentive and friendly, while the owner also checked in on us multiple times after being alerted about the allergies. We’ll definitely be back, maybe even tomorrow!
We stopped in recently on Friday for lunch. We entered on the Superior Ave side and no one was at the reception desk in front to seat us so we walked through the bar area. There were several patrons on the bar side but we wanted a little quieter setting so we decided to sit over on the restaurant side. We waited for several minutes and finally had to go and find a waitress. We both decided on the fish special (2-piece battered). You could have the fish broiled or battered or one of each. The meal was very good. The fish was crispy and very flavorful. The potatoes were creamy and I enjoyed the gravy. Coleslaw was tasty as well. Our waitress was very pleasant and did a nice job taking care of us once she knew we were there. Overall, we had a very good meal and plan on coming back again in the near future.
This establishment hits out of its weight class. The whole menu was designed by the executive chef and the ingredients are fresh! My date and I sampled a few things on the menu and everything seems to be good! I will certainly be back when I am this town again. The quality blew my socks off. I struggle to find places this good in major cities.
We are at this place two days in a row. It was delicious both times. The wait staff was super friendly, portion sizes were great, and absolutely no complaints.
Stopped for late lunch after my dad’s VA appointment. We had a wonderful waitress and superb food. I am vegan and got the poke bowl and the waitress offered to substitute a portobello mushroom for the meat. My dad also enjoyed his chicken, mashed potatoes and slaw. Highly recommend stopping here to eat.
It’s a neat and clean building. If you’re looking for good food that is also gluten free. This is a great place to go! The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Items that are gluten free and/or have gluten free options available are listed clearly on the menu. They even offer a gluten free flourless chocolate cake. 😋 I had the Cuben sandwich on gluten free bun and regular fries. They also have sweet potato fries.
